readyring lets restaurants and coffee shops tell guests when their order is ready, on the guest's own phone. We collect as little as possible to do that.
Guests
Guests don't create an account and we don't ask for a name, phone number or email. When you scan an order QR code we store the order number, its status and timestamps for the business that served you.
If you turn on alerts, your browser or iPhone gives us a technical push token so we can update your order on your lock screen. It is linked only to that one order, is used only to send updates about it, and is cleared after the order is collected or the token expires.
We don't use location, contacts, photos, advertising identifiers or tracking of any kind.
Businesses
For businesses we store the details you give us to run your account: business name, logo, contact details, staff names and PINs (stored encrypted), and order history used for your prep-time insights.
If you contact us through our website we store what you send us so we can reply and set up a demo.
Who we share data with
We use trusted providers to run the service: hosting (Vercel), database (Supabase), and push delivery by Apple and your browser's push service. We don't sell data or share it for advertising.
Keeping and deleting data
Order data is kept for the business's reporting while their account is active. A business can ask us to delete their account and data at any time. Guests can ask us to delete an order's data by contacting us with the order details.
